Abstract Landscapes

About the Genre
Abstract landscapes are not depictions of places, but impressions of them. They blur the lines between memory and imagination—where the horizon dissolves into texture, and colors speak louder than contours. These works are less about geographic accuracy and more about evoking a sense of space, stillness, motion, or transformation. Earth tones may pulse like heartbeats, skies may melt into oceanic silence, and mountains might be reduced to gestures—each stroke capturing the emotional weather of a moment.
Rather than mapping physical terrain, these landscapes map internal topographies: solitude, awe, loss, wonder. They invite the viewer to navigate not a destination, but a feeling.
